Aims

- To develop high quality health services through Tekera Health Clinic and supporting health education activities.

- To provide high quality primary school education for children of the surrounding area.

- To support adults to gain further education.

- To encourage community groups, co-ops and social activities with a view to developing an inclusive, independent community.

Objectives

- To develop a sense of community ownership of the centre and build a system of local governance.

- To work towards the centre generating enough income to cover its costs and becoming self-sufficient.

- To ensure that the dignity and self respect of the local community is respected at all times, and that the centre does not contribute to creating a welfare society.
