The Teacher’s Residence began by accident. We started a foundation for another project but decided not to proceed. The location was ideal and the residence became reality. With the residence came a two hole latrine (which is shared with the clinic) and 2 shower stalls.  With a third solar panel, we were able to install one light in each room. Now teachers will be able to work in the evenings when necessary. The 5 watt energy saving florescent bulbs provide sufficient light to read.
