TRC Ireland – Overview

Background

TRC Ireland was established in January 2008 to formalise the support of Irish volunteers for Tekera Resource Centre and Primary School. The main aims of TRC Ireland are to raise funds and organise volunteer placements.

TRC Ireland funding priorities are ongoing running costs of the Centre and School. In addition, TRC Ireland will try to provide additional support for the School in terms of equipment and scholarships for Secondary School.

TRC Ireland is an unincorporated association with charitable status (CHY18102) and is governed by officers. The current committee is made up of: Killian Kehoe (Chairperson), Frances Haworth (Secretary), Emma Casey (Treasurer). The organisation address is: 1 Foxrock Green, Foxrock, Dublin 18.

Funding Applications

Funding Application Forms should be completed before funds are transferred. TRC Ireland will transfer funds to the Tekera Resource Centre bank account electronically. Receipts and completed Funding Reporting Forms are required for all successful applications. Funding Reporting Forms are required within 12 months of grants being issued. For salaries, a photocopy of the monthly signatures for salaries is sufficient.
