Construction began on the Water Retention System on June 16, 2008. The dimension of the tank will be 16 feet deep, 12 feet in length and 8 feet wide. The anticipated capacity of the underground tank should be approximately 54,000 litres. With an additional 3 tanks above ground, total capacity should be 57,000 litres. Recently, a report was released regarding the changing weather patterns in Uganda. The report stated that there will be less rainfall per year and the amount of each rainfall to be more severe.
