FOUNDERS:
Brigitte Daley (Canada), Bruce Daley
(Canada), Killian Kehoe (Ireland), Einer Rubilar (Chile).
Bruce Daley
(Canada). Bruce worked as an insurance broker
for 20 years and has extensive managerial and business experience.
He brings vital skills to the project including staff management
skills, standardized accountancy practices, and project management
skills. He works as a director and volunteer manager at the centre.
Brigitte Daley
(Canada). Brigitte is a registered nurse from Canada and has
valuable nursing experience in the Ugandan context. After qualifying
in Canada, she spent 3 years working in Villa Maria, Masaka
District, southern Uganda. After nursing for 30 years in Canada, she
returned to Uganda in early 2005. Brigitte speaks Luganda and has a
wealth of specialized emergency and mobile clinic experience. She is
a director and volunteer nurse at the centre
Killian Kehoe
(Ireland). Killian is from Ireland and is working as a solicitor in
Dublin. He initiated the project, formed the project team,
and managed the start up phase. He worked as a volunteer in Uganda
from late 2005 to March 2006. He continues to be involved by
supporting the project with TRC (Ireland).
Einer Rubilar
(Chile), Einer is originally from Chile, but is
living in the United States. He volunteered with Coorporacion de
Ayuda al Nino Quemado (COANIQUEM) in Chile and was later employed
part-time with Esperanza Community Service in Chicago Illinois. He
worked as a volunteer in Uganda from late 2005 until he returned home
in June 2006. Einer has not been involved with the project
since his return.

CENTRE STAFF:
Harriet Kirungi is the in-charge
nurse of the Centre. She graduated as a nurse in 2006 and was
working at Villa Maria Hospital for 21/2 years. Harriet is married
with one child and possesses a strong personality.
Isreal Kiyiito was
originally hired to manage the construction of most of the buildings
at the centre but has stayed on as the H.R. manager and community
liaison. Over the past two years, he has developed a relationship
with the community and earned their trust. He is married with three
daughters who
live outside of Kampala, about 3 hours away.
Paulo Ntume was raised
in another area of Masaka and began in construction. His hard work
and dedication earned him the position of farm manager with three
other workers. He has now made Tekera home with his wife and three
daughters.
